When is the event?
Flight 2018 will be held Friday 5 January 2018 to Friday 12 January 2018. So mark this space in your calendars!
Where will it be held?
Flight 2018 will be held at Rathkeale College, Masterton (Regional Hub 7). Off-site adventures will take place across the country. Have a look at the adventures tab to see where you could travel to.
Where does the event end?
The event will end at Scots College in Wellington. Any pickups at the end of the event are to be from Scots College.
How will it work?
Like the 2014 Ranger event, Flame, there will be an onsite programme and an offsite adventure which the Rangers participate in. There will be lots of onsite activities you can do and a choice of offsite adventure. Every participant will go on one offsite adventure.
What will it cost?
Below are the costs for Flight 2018. These are in NZD and are inclusive of GST. Every participant must choose an adventure and this is an additional cost for girls.
A non-refundable deposit is due 10 July 2017 and the balance of the costs is due 31 October 2017.

What age do you have to be to attend?
Flight 2018 will be for girls who are aged from 12 ½ -18 years on 1 February 2018. This means that you will have been born between 1 February 2000 and 1 August 2005, in order to attend as a participant. Older members can apply as leaders.

Who is on the Committee?
The Chair is Joe Tyler-Cole from Area B, but there are still a lot of opportunities in programme on and off site, catering, the health team, financial support, local liaison and leader in charge. If you are interested please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Can leaders suggest an adventure?
Yes! Each adventure will need an Adventure Leader, an assistant, a caterer and a first aider as an ideal minimum. If there is something that you desperately want to do, ask your leader to suggest it via email@example.com
I ran an adventure at Flame and can I do it again?
Yes – if you are keen, again please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
However, please be aware that the adventures will run subject to girl numbers.
When will we know definite costs?
Costs - this is a little open ended, but we are working to have a final cost to you as soon as possible, so that registrations can be opened as soon as possible.
